FAQs
How do I become a member of Transformation Church?
If you're interested in becoming a member of TC and understand what it means to be a "Transformer" or disciple of Jesus (click HERE for more information), we encourage you to attend our Covenant Class, which occurs three–four times a year. We discuss our vision, values, characteristics, what we believe, and what we practice during the Covenant Class. After completing the class, and agreeing to participate in the life of TC, you would be a member unless you respond to a follow-up correspondence indicating you're not interested in membership.
Do I have to be a member to serve?
At TC, we believe every Transformer, or disciple of Christ, should be living out the five characteristics of a Christ-follower—worship, connect, serve, give, and invite—on a regular basis. Regarding serving, our desire is for each person to serve in TC and outside TC (in their community, neighborhood, school, etc.). Therefore, any person who is attending TC on a regular basis can serve in different areas. However, with different roles there are different responsibilities so certain areas of service require a person to be a member of Transformation Church. Those areas are clearly identified by the leadership in any given ministry.
How often do we celebrate communion?
Communion, or the Lord's Supper, is celebrated throughout the year at Transformation Church. Our desire is to make communion an integral part of the service; therefore, participation in communion is based on the sermon series and how it fits into a particular message. Every time we participate in communion, it's an opportunity to celebrate His death, burial, and resurrection until His return.
